Tanner became a board Member 2017, he is a lifetime resident of Whidbey Island. He started his fishing career in 1999 salmon fishing in Bristol Bay. He has spent every summer since then fishing in Alaska. Needing work in the Fall, he spent several season crabbing on the ocean before returning home to crab the Puget sound in 2003. Tanner enjoys living the island life.
