While working as a builder & contractor in Alaska Dave was looking for something more so he bought into the Cook Inlet Set-Net fishery in 1982 where he has built that operation from one permit and site to five. Dave and his wife JoAnn have enjoyed that fishery where they had opportunity to raise their two sons Danny & Chris to be fishermen as well. Dave also dabbled in the lower Cook Inlet Halibut fishery for many years.

Dave started his venture in the Puget Sound Crab fishery in 2010 and helped his youngest son Chris get his start at that time as well, his oldest son Danny was in the US Air-force but enjoyed helping out while on leave.

Danny has since left the Air-force and has also invested in the crab fishery.
