Robert "Bob" Olson

Bob was Born and raised in Oak Harbor WA in 1958 and still lives there today. Bob's Fishing career began in the summer of 1966 gill-netting for King Salmon in Skagit Bay With his father Swede Olson. He fished there every summer, in 1971 Swede Started in the Puget Sound Crab fishery and Bob went out every chance he got. Back then the season was from October 01 thru May 31st. In June of 1974 Bob began gill-netting in his own boat, and then in October of that same year he began Crabbing in Skagit Bay and still crabs there today. He also fishes for Sockeye Salmon in Bristol Bay Alaska which he started in 1980. Another veteran fisherman from a fishing Family.
